HOMESICK
Homesick is a candle company with one goal - to make people happy by reminding them of the moments and experiences that matter most. They are best known for their state and city inspired candles.
But the truth is, we don’t actually get homesick for a place. We get homesick for the people that make it home. So we’re launching a product extension allowing people to customize candles to smell like the people that make home, home.

Homesick site visitors will be able to craft the perfect fragrance based off their favorite memories or activities with their chosen person through an interactive quiz.
Users will have the option to mail in an article of fabric or clothing with their person’s scent so Homesick candlemakers can incorporate it into their candle, free of charge.
Each candle will come with its own personalized name and descriptor based off the information supplied during the quiz. When designing the candle packages, I included original illustrations inspired by the personalized descriptions.
The article will be returned to the users that opted to send one in, along with their custom candle.
